More Details Revealed about the Burglary at Steve Jobs’ Home. iPads, iMacs, and Steve Jobs’ Wallet among items Stolen

After the world found out that the home of the late Steve Jobs was hit by a burglar last month, the question begging an answer was, simply—what was stolen?

Quicker than expected, we now have an answer. As reported by The Daily, burglar Kariem McFarlin managed to break into the Palo Alto home and grab high-priced items such as iPads and iMacs. But even those expensive electronics appear cheap when held up against jewels from Tiffany’s, which were also included in the take…

So what was McFarlin thinking? Well, he probably had no idea what he was doing, if you believe the story that this was the first attempted burglary for the 35-year-old, ex-San Jose State football player. He apparently just noticed the Jobs home while wandering through the area, and thought it seemed like a fitting mark for his first heist. Details of the burglary process show that McFarlin tossed the items out of the home and onto lawn furniture cushions before gathering them up and driving away. In a fitting end, he was later traced after plugging in some of the Apple devices and allowing them to “call home.”

Whether or not McFarlin knew who used to live in the house before he broke in, he probably got wise while he was inside. That’s what I’m inferring, anyway, seeing as he took a wallet that included Jobs’ license, as well as $1 that allegedly comprised his salary for the year.

Luckily, we can take a somewhat lighthearted approach to this burglary seeing as a suspect is in custody and nobody got hurt. Reports show that Laurene Powell was not living in the house when it was robbed, as she’s currently staying elsewhere while renovations take place.
