iPhone 5S might Arrive in June with Multiple Colors and Screen Sizes

Good news for those who held off on buying the iPhone 5 on the good faith that it wouldn’t be long before Apple followed up on it with an ‘S’ version. Based on analyst chatter, it’s beginning to look like we might meet the newest iPhone in June—and what’s more, it might come in some fancy new colors.

color-iphone-5… But really, if you’ve been in the market for a new iPhone and held off on the iPhone 5, you’re probably more interested in the internal specs than the outward color. The new device is expected to be called iPhone 5S (shocking), and if Brian White of Topeka Capital knows what he’s talking about, it could come bearing an improved camera, longer battery life, and maybe even NFC capabilities. But it doesn’t end there. Here’s White with one more big prediction:

“Our checks are also indicating that the next iPhone will offer customers more choice in terms of screen size. Although Apple offers a 4-inch screen on the iPhone 5 and a 3.5-inch screen on the iPhone 4S and 4, the company has never offered multiple screen sizes for a single model…”

He’s right, they haven’t, and I’m not so sure they’re going to find reason to do so now—but then, maybe that’s why I’m not an analyst… If an iPhone 5S is indeed charted for June, the device will probably go into production around March or April… So there you have it. If you had the presence of mind to hold off on the iPhone 5 for whatever was coming next, the finish line might be in sight!
