There are a lot of puzzle games in the App Store, and some of them tend to get a bit repetitive in how they’re built. Today’s Universal puzzle app, however, is not one I’d throw under that category.
It’s called Freeze! and it’s a very minimalistic styled puzzle, but one that you’ll find challenging and entertaining. Set in a spooky black and white world, you have to aid a hero in escaping a number of treacherously designed prison cells by rotating them around until he can roll, fall, and bounce into the escape hole. In certain moments, you’ll want to make good use of the freeze button, lest your hero falls to his death on a spike or something of that nature. It’s a wonderful physics based puzzle that has unique graphics and gameplay, so grab it now during the promotional period.
