Ferrari and iOS Infotainment system? The New LaFerrari has it all, plus a few iPad Minis
When iOS-minded individuals go car shopping in this day and age, the degree to which any given vehicle can integrate with the handset in their pocket is an increasingly important factor. Some automakers have done a decent job, and some of their offerings might even be somewhat affordable in the future, but the super rich just got a super awesome new iOS infotainment option from none other than Ferrari.
The newest LaFerrari comes with a price tag of about $1.3 million—but wait! That includes a few iPad Minis, a convenient full-size iPad mount, and an infotainment system that’s built to work with your best friend Siri… The iPad Minis are located in the back seat, where they’re meant for use by the everyday-family-man-Ferrari-owner’s little tots.
Now that we’ve covered the iOS presence in the LaFerrari, we’d be remiss not to mention some of this beast’s other specs. The vehicle incorporates Formula 1 design technology, features aerodynamics crafted in an F1 Wind Tunnel, and it’s a hybrid—so you can drive at unreal speeds with your kids playing Temple Run: Oz in the backseat while hardly using any gas at all. Is this real life?
If it’s just not enough, here’s an upgraded model, too (with glass roof and special interior).
