Create fake Siri Responses using ifakesiri.com, or Use new Jailbreak Tweak to get Siri-Like Features on iPhone 4 and 3GS
Siri continues to provide endless fun for its users. Even if you don’t have a bunch of meetings to schedule or texts to dictate, there’s still plenty to do in finding out the weird stuff you can get Apple’s humble personal assistant to say back at you… The Siri experience expanded to a wider group this week, as a new jailbreak tweak brought new functionality to older iOS devices, and a web app made it possible to fake your own Siri responses even if you don’t have any iPhone to speak of.
The new option for jailbreakers using an iPhone 4 or 3GS is called Siri0us. It was made by Eric Day, and you can get it from Cydia by adding the source http://apt.iforce.com. Careful, though, cause the developer has been upfront in noting that there is a certain bug that might make your device respring repeatedly—thus necessitating that Siri0us be removed using an SSH tool.
Maybe you’re not the jaibreaking type, but still find Siri and the things it says rather amusing. Well, now you can use ifakesiri.com to create your own fictitious Siri responses. Once you think of a clever conversation, write it up using ifakesiri.com and you’ll get a screenshot that can be used to trick—or temporarily confuse—your friends. It’s a funny trick, and one that will only work before the word gets out about how it’s being done. So be the first to the party and start thinking of odd ways Siri might respond in another universe. Come up with something good and it should at least be worth some interesting Facebook comments if you post the screenshot.
