Where things get tricky though, is that with each jump, the formation of the lilly pad grouping changes, meaning there is an extra wrinkle of difficulty added and strategy needed. Move your frogs around and also use them to deter your opponents strategies as much as possible. Science. It’s what holds life together, yet also what intimidates so many people due to the difficulties it can present when trying to be understood. Atomic Fusion for the iPhone and iPad, however, turns the difficulty of science on its head.

In Atomic Fusion, you’re given the challenge to remove atoms from a molecule in the correct order, and by doing so, you have to predict which molecules will merge so that you have none left at the end of each level. Ok, so maybe it doesn’t exactly simplify science for you, but it does at least present it in a fairly easy to understand gaming premise. Whatever color of the atom you click doesn’t really matter, but each combination needs to contain same colored atoms, or else no dice. Do your best to complete each of the many levels and see how much of a science wiz you really are or aren’t. The game is challenging, but the rewards you get for a complete job are endless, since they’re knowledge.

By strategically placing your lines, you will guide the ball against your opponent’s line drawings, but be careful and strategize well, or you won’t score. It’s a simple game that can be played in single mode against the computer, or against a friend on the same iPad or iPhone. You can choose a specific graphic design for the field, as well as its size, and also the pace of the line-drawing if you want to keep things going a certain speed.
