For some of us, like me, winter doesn’t mean a whole lot anymore, especially for those of us living in warm climate areas. I grew up in Indiana, so I was used to heavy snows during winter, but not anymore after I’ve moved to Phoenix. The great thing is now I can recreate some beautiful winter moments on my iOS devices without going to cold places, thanks to an app called Snow Daze.
Snow Daze allows you to take or choose a photo and apply a winter effect to it, making it seem as if Old Man Winter himself were in the picture. Choose from a light snowfall or a heavy one, or just hit the randomize button to see what happens. The results are wonderfully realistic, and believe me, I know snow.
