Angry Birds Star Wars coming next Month!

It’s been an incredibly busy year for the people at Rovio, and they’re not done yet… After already hitting the world with games such as Angry Birds Space, Amazing Alex, and Bad Piggies, the Finland-based development studio is set to release Angry Birds Star Wars yet in 2012—a game which is exactly what it sounds like.

One might argue that this coming installment is pretty closely related to Angry Birds Space, but what do we know… According to a representative from Lucasfilm Ltd., the game will feature all new characters which are bird-like versions of Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Obi-Wan Kenobi… In the way of pig-style opponents will be characters like Darth Vader and his stormtroopers.

We’ll just have to wait and see if it brings more to the table than a Star Wars makeover. Knowing Rovio, we’ll probably get gameplay tweaks and new mechanics that will make it impossible not to play, because that’s just how they do it… Now is the time to make sure you’ve fully completed the first five installments of Angry Birds, because Star Wars is coming out on November 8^th and it’ll be available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, as well as Android and computers, too.
