Sausage Stylus Rocks, Works as Drum Sticks Too

Update: It appears that you can already purchase the sausage stylus in the U.S. just head over to Amazon Store and  pick one up for 99 cents each (regular price $3.99).
Do you need a stylus for your iPhone or iPad?  Sometimes,  like when wearing a glove in the freezing cold, your fingers just aren’t the best tool to operate these touch sensitive devices.  But the iPhone and the iPad don’t just work with any stylus.  A special material such as those present in your fingers must come in contact with the touch screen to make the touch induced operation work.

The Koreans have figured out a way to overcome these technical difficulties and created an unconventional stylus, the sausage stylus.  Sales of CJ Coorporation’s snack sausages have seen a sharp increase this winter as Koreans find a way to operate the iPhone without having their bare hands leaving the comfort of warm gloves in the freezing weather.

The unique design of these sausages make them a great stylus for the iPhone or iPad.  Notice that only the tip of meat is exposed, making accurate tapping and swiping gestures on the iPhone.  Some Korean are even typing emails and SMS messages with those sausage styluses on the tiny iPhone screen.

With 2 sausage styluses, things get even more interesting.  The sausage styluses become great drum sticks, an important accessory for playing the Japanese drumming game, Taiko Drum.  It is amazing what people can do with sausages.

If you have to make your iPhone smell like meat, hot dogs do work.  But it may be best to wait for those Korean sausages to be imported to North America or Europe for best stylus effects.
