Slice is evil. At least it looks that way upon first glance, but even in its evilness, it’s one of the neatest looking iPad games I’ve come across. While it’s incredibly simple in its main function, finishing the game will be anything but.

The goal of the game is to complete various levels by moving ultra sharp (and ultra cool looking) blades around in order to push the button underneath them. The one problem though is that if you aren’t careful and you touch the sharp edges of the blades, you will get cut. Badly. While not literally, the aftermath looks all the same, with blood splatter and sound effects to boot. The blades will only move in a certain pattern, forcing you to figure out how to move each blade accordingly in order to complete the level.

Slice HD is a wonderful looking and fun playing game that is absolutely worth your free download.
