Angry Birds has been at or near the top of the iOS app game for awhile now, but let’s be honest: sometimes it can get a little repetitive just flinging a bird into some obstacles in order to destroy those dastardly pigs. Monkey Bongo, on the other hand, is a game similar to Angry Birds, but with much more variation.

The premise of Monkey Bongo is to feed a bunch of toucans by using the monkey helpers. Players will be greeted with 5 different areas (jungle, desert, arctic, zoo, and city), and ten different levels within each area. Try to get the monkeys to fling the objects around various obstacles, including some nifty ricocheting off of other objects, and into the toucan’s mouth.

It’s a very simple premise with just enough variation to keep it from getting repetitive. Will it ever be as big a hit as Angry Birds? Doubtful, but what game could be? And since it’s a huge price drop to free (from $2.99), you’re getting a massive bargain.
