Unlike traditional tower defense games, you can place towers on rails. Build and move towers anywhere on the rail with your finger to attack enemies from the best position possible. Also a departure from the traditional tower defense games, you don’t instantly lose a life when a monster reaches its destination and grab a power gem from you . Instead, a monster will transform into a stronger beast with some of its hit points recovered.
It will attempt to head back to where it came from with the stolen gem. If you are lucky, you can still defeat it before the monster retreats with your gem. If all of the gems are taken by the monsters, it is game over. You only need to keep at least one gem to win. Keep in mind that other monsters can still transform and take a gem dropped in the middle of the route if you are unable to return it quickly.
